Solution:

We can leave the ESC/P driver in place and modify the Print Processor Setting of that driver to get it to work.


Steps:


1.  Edit the Printer Properties and go to the Advanced Tab


2.  Leave the Driver on the problematic Oki Dot-Matrix 9Pin ESC/P Class Driver


3.  On that same tab click the bottom center "Print Processor" button


4.  Two columns.  


The left column "Print processor" should be set to "winprint" (which should be the default option anyway)


The right column "Default data type:" should be changed to "XPS2GDI"


5. Apply/OK the change.
